With a Block Island wedding your wedding day will be the most unforgettable experience of your life! We’ve mentioned the Spring House Hotel on Block Island before, but we honestly can’t talk about it enough. It’s truly one of our favorite places in the United States. And just a short ferry ride away, it’s the perfect place to start the beginning of your forever journey with your other half.
The Spring House Hotel continues to be Block Island’s oldest and largest hotel since being built in 1852. Its red mansard roof that’s been well-maintained, spacious wraparound veranda, and its distinctive cupola all contribute to its authentically beautiful New England charm. There’s a 10-acre promontory on which the hotel sits that creates one of its most cherished features: the incomparable view of the Atlantic Ocean and the islands’ rolling foothills.
A wedding on Block Island is a wedding you’ll never forget. With a scenic backdrop of green grass, a shining white building, and the deep blue ocean, you’ll forever look back at your wedding photos in awe. And the lovely indoor and outdoor venues offered will bring your vision to life.
The Spring House Hotel offers a variety of venues for you to choose from. The Seaside Veranda, the hotel’s landmark feature, features an outdoor bar and lots of space for your guests to enjoy themselves. It’s a partially covered, wraparound porch that’s the perfect spot for enjoying your cocktail hour. And the view from here just can’t be beaten!
There’s also the luxurious Victoria’s Parlor with its beautiful oak bar and stage! This is the room that’s usually reserved for receptions. It provides a generous amount of room to dance, relax, and of course for any performers you wish to have! It’s the perfect room to accommodate every one of your guests.
Then we have the Dining Room. A classic and stunning space that overlooks the Atlantic Ocean. Take advantage of the fresh breeze that flows from their French doors on a hot summer’s day, or better yet, use their air-conditioning! And if you’re feeling up to it, you can choose to cuddle up next to the stone fireplace.
Whatever your dream wedding looks like, they will go above and beyond to make it a reality. They even offer to assist you with services like catering, setting up, cleaning, event planning, and a lot more.
Here’s something you probably didn’t know about the hotel; their kitchen uses produce that’s picked right out of their own gardens that overlook the ocean! Many of their dishes are made utilizing what grows in their own backyard. The staff here is truly dedicated to making sure that you have a Spring House Hotel wedding you’ll always remember.
The best part about having your Block Island wedding at the Spring House Hotel is that you can spend the night here after your big day comes to an end. Stay in one of their quaint, uniquely decorated rooms in the main building. Some even offer antique furnishings and amazing ocean views. And after you’ve rested, you can spend the next day exploring the Old Harbor Historic District or Fred Benson Town Beach! Both are close by and easily accessible.
The Spring House Hotel really has it all, which is why we rave about it so much.
