We’re going to get down and dirty real quick about why you should hire a wedding planner.

A wedding planner IS NOT a venue coordinator. Venue coordinators coordinator the venue staff, and property, NOT your wedding. Their responsibility is not making sure your day is stellar and all the magical things that your day should be. Their responsibility is making sure the venue doesn’t burn down, essentially.

Ain’t nobody got time for set up and breakdown. You have so many little details and you want to relax on your wedding day right? So setting up your wedding while you’re, you know, trying to enjoy all your family and friends who just flew in from all over, it isn’t going to happen. Let the planner do it. That’s what they’re here for.
You Need Your Own Personal Crisis Solver
Weddings have SO MANY moving parts that something inevitably will go wrong. Oh hey, aren’t you glad you hired that wedding planner who’ll take care of it FOR you and may not even alert you to the crisis until it’s a great time to do so — allowing you to focus on your special moments without interruption.
A Planner is an Expert — How Many Weddings Have You Thrown?
Finding vetted vendors when you’re not in the industry. Sounds like fun right? Do you know we’re all supposed to have different forms of insurance, or what back up systems look like for cameras or any of the particulars for each of us? No, you probably dont. But that handy planner you hired did.
Support + Personal Hype Team = HELL YAS
Having that solid hype person and part time therapist from your planner is KEY. They’re going to grab you some coffee if you need it, keep your vibe where you want it, and support you from start to finish through this long emotional process. THEY GOT YOUR BACK.
