I made the executive decision to go bridesmaid dress shopping with one of my couples this weekend. Best experience EVER. It’s really awesome to get to know more of the wedding process +++ more about my couples.
The girls had an appointment lined up at Marry & Tux in Nashua where Brittany had already picked out her wedding dress. This made it easy to match things, see them together (boys + girls) and figure out what the whole crew would look like in their sweet duds.
Bridesmaid dress shopping, theoretically, should be difficult. Sticking a bunch of women in various dresses to figure out what we can cohesively wear is like …tough. These 3 young ladies were a breeze and the staff helped make it easy.
After we grabbed breadsticks and pasta at Olive Garden, cause …duh. And then headed over to Claire’s for jewelry and the Shoe Depot for shoes. It was nice to bang out (and turned it into a whole day) bridesmaid dress shopping, plus bridesmaid jewelry shopping AND bridesmaid shoe shopping into one whole trip, and a fun day out with your friends.
We were in the dress shop when the girls all realized just going to Claire’s and somewhere like the Shoe Depot for shoes made the most sense. The jewelry needed to be cohesive and so heading over to Claire’s for earrings none might ever wear again, except for this day, made solid sense. Cheap, yet will look nice for a one-time-thing, it was a win-win all around.
It was great to have Brittany’s daughter along for shoe shopping. She really loved trying on shoes, and totally loved following her mom around in the store.
We went to a bouncy house after — perfect way to close out the day with a nice family activity. I got to know more about their personal lives and how close Brittany’s maid of honor is to her and her whole family.
All in all, 10/10 would do this again. So if you’re a 2020 client, hit me up, cause I want to go dress/tux/jumpsuit shopping with you! Sunday I’ll be spending Super Bowl Sunday with my 10/10 ladies and cannot be more excited about it!
