The Longboat Key Club
The Longboat Key Club is a private club on the south end of Longboat Key attached to a Golf Club and a beautiful private Marina. The property is gated, and the public is not able to access the gold club, the marina or the beaches — making it a perfect hidden oasis in the Florida Keys.
Newly renovated, the Resort offers many suites and full ocean views from the on beach properties. You can choose from a suite overlooking the golf course, lagoon, or the beach — personally, I’d choose the beach! Being able to leave your door open at night, and listen to the waves is the best.
Weddings at the Resort at Longboat Key Club
The Longboat Key Club offers so many options for your ceremony and reception. My personal favorite is the beach for both — you can set up market lights over your reception and dance under the stars. If you’re not into having sand between your toes as you say I do, the fountain area at the marina is amazing! Totally out of a Tuscan fairy tale.
The food at the Longboat Key Club is perfect for any audience, and the staff is terrific with dietary restrictions. The prime rib is a staff favorite, with plenty of local seafood for those pescatarians.
Resort Weddings: Ceremony Options
There are so many options for your ceremony venue at the Club. Whether you want to get married on the beach, at the moorings, or in the ballroom, the LBK Club provides you with options.

Each of the rooms at the Block Island Key Club overlook either the lagoon, the beach, or the golf course — all perfectly beautiful views. All newly renovated, the rooms are beautifully decorated, spacious, and loaded with amenities. The suites are to die for, with full kitchens, and balconies overlooking the Florida keys.
The Longboat Key Marina
If you’re a sailor, or a boater, the Marina is an amazing location to dock up on your Florida vaca. With plenty of space, access to the resort, and a clear teal ocean surrounding you it’s a perfect paradise. The marina offers an excellent level of customer service, with folks willing to help you with any needs or wants.
The Guest Experience
The Longboat Key Club is one of the pricier options in the Keys, that said, the Club has more than enough to do for any family or couple looking for a winter getaway. Whether you want to bask on the white sands beaches, or play golf all morning, the LBK Club has everything you need on property.
The exclusivity of the Longboat Key Club is definitely something to take note. The general public isn’t allowed on site, making it an oasis hidden in the often crowded Keys. With private beaches, lagoons, docks, and more, you’ll find intimate spots to curl up with a loved one or a book.
