Although we travel all the stinking time we ABSOLUTELY LOVE New England wedding venues. Our whole schtick is New England — we’ve shot in over 100 New England wedding venues and have really gotten to know more than a few pretty well.
Rhode Island Wedding Venue: Mount Hope Farm, Bristol RI
250 Metacom Ave, Bristol, RI 02809
Mount Hope Farm is everything a New England wedding venue should offer: ocean views, stunning barn wedding venue, rustic cottages, gorgeous trees. The setting is absolutely stunning.
Honestly, the best part about Mount Hope, other than the views, is the little cabin that sits atop a rock ledge. It’s a gorgeous little rustic cabin that you can use to hide away with your love or your family for a bit. It’s also just a stunning location for your cocktail hour or a rehearsal dinner.
Vermont Wedding Venue: Von Trapp Family Lodge, Stowe VT
700 Trapp Hill Rd, Stowe, VT 05672

Von Trapp Family Lodge is the ULTIMATE Vermont destination wedding venue. A gorgeous family hotel stuck into the side of a mountain with endless hiking trails, a brewery, animals, and a gorgeous garden in the summer for portraits.

The outdoor ceremony spot is everything you could ask for if you love mountains — it looks out over the mountain range behind Von Trapp Lodge — while the reception area looks out over the front view mountain range. The Lodge is literally surrounded by mountains.
The food is absolutely incredible, and Stowe is an amazing place for a destination weekend getaway. With awesome restaurants, tons of hiking and outdoor sports, more than a few spas there’s ample to do for everyone.
Maine Wedding Venue: Bar Harbor Club, Bar Harbor ME
111 West St, Bar Harbor, ME 04609
The Bar Harbor Club is one of the most interesting wedding venues I have been to. With two separate buildings that face each other, we were able to take some killer shots of the bridesmaids waving to the groomsmen the last time we were there.
In the heart of Bar Harbor, the Maine wedding venue has stunning views and yet is walkable to most things Bar Harbor. The outdoor ceremony spot overlooks the ocean and cliffs. The food is absolutely some of the best I’ve ever had with a raw seafood bar for cocktail hour (HELLO LOBSTER CLAWS).
The indoor reception space offers a rustic, exposed beam ballroom with a stage — the perfect spot for a band. Your guests can roast marshmallows at the outdoor fire pit and enjoy the starscape on the outdoor patio.
New England Wedding Venues Massachusetts: Lakeview Pavillion, Foxboro MA
45 Lakeview Rd, Foxborough, MA 02035
We absolutely loved shooting Katie & Steve’s wedding at Lakeview Pavillion. The best part of the venue is how different it is from anything else. There isn’t another venue in New England that is quite the same. It’s an immaculate white interior with shiny black floors.
For the indoor ceremony, you’re in the middle of the room with floor-length white curtains on either side. It’s stunning, clean-cut, and pure elegance. The staff is super friendly and helpful — you’ll be treated like royalty on your day.
New England Wedding Venues: Delamar Hotel, Greenwich CT
500 Steamboat Rd, Greenwich, CT 06830

The Delamar Hotel in Greenwich CT is a gorgeous harbor hotel nestled into the main street of Greenwich. Just outside the city, Greenwich Harbor is a welcome reprieve from city wedding venues. The hotel suites are large and have balconies — providing a variety of environments for pre-ceremony shots.

The ballroom downstairs has a patio overlooking the harbor and the staircase in the lobby is the perfect place for Vanity Fair style family portraits.
Top New Hampshire Wedding Venue: Brookline Chapel, Brookline NH
36 Main Street PO Box 360, Brookline, NH 03033

Brookline Chapel is everything an intimate old church can be. With old stonework, old woodwork, and luxurious red velvet cushions, the chapel is a stunning winter ceremony location.

The chapel itself has stunning natural light in the early to mid-afternoon when it’s sunniest. Use that light for portraits before your ceremony inside the chapel for elegant Vanity Fair style portraits.

We’re a huge fan of how accessible the venue is to locations for family and couples portraits. With two parks nearby — one with a covered bridge — there are ample options for gorgeous backdrops for portraits.
