Although I think anyone who loves beer could crave a Hill Farmstead wedding, one of the only wedding venues in Greensboro VT is actually Turning Stone Farm. A beautiful farm tucked away in Greensboro Vermont with mountain views, and an orchard, and gardens, the barn has a bridal suite, and plenty of space for dining, music, and dancing.
Vermont’s Northeast Kingdom is one of the most untouched spaces in the United States. Turning Stone Farm in Greensboro Vermont. With only a few Greensboro Vermont hotels, it’s wise to snag a block at Highland Lodge, another favorite Northeast Kingdom wedding venue.
Having your wedding in Greensboro VT is such a great way to unplug with your favorite people. Come up from Thursday to Sunday, you can turn what would have been a day, into a weekend-long adventure. Hike with your friends, enjoy Caspian Lake, sightsee with the Museum of Everyday Life and Hill Farmstead, hit Parker Pie for pizza after. Don’t forget to stop at Willie’s in town for some local favorites.
The Turning Stone Farm in Greensboro VT has gorgeous mountain views over the Northeast Kingdom. Use the mountain views for your ceremony backdrop, with the gardens and orchards for cocktail hour, and a beautiful barn for your wedding reception. Stretch out with yard games on the lawn and don’t forget to have custom cocktails to enjoy!
One thing I absolutely love about Turning Stone Farm is that the getting ready suite is just off the reception space, making it an easy access spot for your stuff, and if you want to spend the night. Enjoy star gazing from the fire pits after your reception, and head back to Highland Lodge for the after-party in the ski hut.
Despite Greensboro being pretty small, there’s plenty of space to stretch out for special events. Use Parker Pie for a guest party when they all arrive, and Highland Lodge for a brunch spot. The Greensboro area is an amazing experience from start to finish.
Definitely consider a taco truck or food truck of some kind for your Greensboro VT wedding. Having a food truck is such a fun, interactive way to have dinner. DJ & Sage had a sweet brick oven pizza truck for their wedding that was incredible!
We always use real weddings for pictures in the blog — two of my favorite weddings happened at Turning Stone Farm, DJ & Sage, and Rachel & Darren. If you loved getting to know the Turning Stone Farm, definitely check out Highland Lodge!
